WASIA has fostered shearing training in WA for many years and every year awards the Neville Munns Scholarships to WA College of Agriculture students each year since November 2002.

- Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) – AWI provides free training for novice, improver and professional shearers and wool handlers through its regional coaching program. For all AWI shearer training requests call 1800SHEARS
