WASIA MEMBERSHIP

As a not-for-profit industry association, WASIA operates under a registered Constitution and is managed by an elected Executive Committee. WASIA memberships are open to:

shed hands
cooks
wool growers

wool brokers/buyers
other groups or individuals with an interest in the WA shearing industry.

Membership Types & Fees

Full Membership – Shearing Contractors ($600 per year)

Associate Membership – Growers, Shearers, Woolclassers, Shed Hands, Cooks, Suppliers, Wool Buyers/Brokers and any other individual stakeholders interested in the wool industry. ($300 per year)

Social Membership – Retired full or associate members, or those no longer in the industry but who wish to stay in contact. ($90 per year)

Group Membership – Other Industry Groups or Associations; Specialist Grower Groups. (By negotiation and based on member numbers)

Association Access – Registered Training Organisations and other companies and organisations. ($600 per year)

WASIA membership year is October to September and full year fees are due in October. When joining during the year, fees are charged pro-rata.
